SSS Contribution Table 2024 - Overseas Filipino Workers
For Overseas Filipino Workers, the SSS Contribution Table for this year 2024 has been updated. Though this is applicable only to land-based OFWs bacause sea-based OFWs follows the Employee-Employer contribution table.
The employer share for sea-based overseas Filipino workers shall be paid by the employment agency of the OFW. However, for the case of land-based OFW, the member will soley pay for the entire SSS premium payment.
The minimum compensation range for OFW contribution is ₱8,250 below which has premium payment set to ₱1,120.00. While the maximum contribution range based on monthly salary is ₱29,750 and over which has a premium payment set to ₱4,200.00. This maximum range of compensation includes a Mandatry Provident Fund payment of ₱1,400.00.

Land-based OFW members who have already paid their contributions in advance for the applicable months of January 2023 onwards based on the old contribution schedule are advised as follows:
- Those with advance payment at the minimum of ₱8,000.00 shall settle underpayment amounting to ₱80.00 to retain the posting of contributions at the same minimum MSC; otherwise, such advance payment shall be deemed as ineffective contributions; and
- Those with advance payment at an MSC other than the minimum ₱8,000.00 may opt to pay the corresponding increase in contributions to retain posting at the same MSC; otherwise, such advance payment shall be posted at the applicable lower MSC.
For examply, if your monthly salary is ₱14,500, look at the Compensation Range Column (first column) where you belong to ₱14,250 - ₱14,749.99 row. Your equivalent premium payment is 1,885.
